Isabel Bader Theatre

The Isabel Bader Theatre was a $7M gift to Victoria University, donated by Alfred Bader as a loving tribute to his wife.

Located on the University of Toronto Campus, this 500 seat multi-purpose venue features lattice wood work on the side walls to help diffuse the sound. A special reflector located above the balcony redirects sound to improve speech intelligibility and musical clarity in these, the furthest seats from the stage.

The building was designed by Peter Smith of Lett/Smith Architects and was opened on 3 March 2001.
